MoA SIGNING
A MoA was signed between D/o Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti through National River Conservation Directorate and IIT Kanpur through Centre for Ganga River Basin Management Studies with the Consortium Institutes of NIT Raipur & NIT Rourkela to establish Centres for Mahanadi River Basin Management Studies in February 2024.
INAUGURATION OF CMAHANADI AT NIT RAIPUR
The inauguration of Centre for Mahanadi River Basin Management Studies at NIT Raipur and an orientation workshop on CAMP for Mahanadi River Basin was organised on 4th of April 2024 in the presence of Prof. Vinod Tare Founding Head, cGanga, IIT Kanpur with Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao, Director, NIT Raipur, Prof. K. Umamaheshwar Rao, Director, NIT Rourkela, Principal Investigators from various departments of the consortium institutes for cMahanadi respectively.
